BillingNavigating Payment & Insurance with Confidence
We understand that navigating health insurance and therapy costs can often feel confusing and stressful. Whether you choose to pay out-of-pocket or utilize out-of-network insurance benefits, our team is dedicated to guiding you through the process, helping you maximize your coverage, and making your billing experience as seamless as possible.
To ensure your focus remains entirely on your personal growth, we offer convenient digital payment methods, including major credit cards, HSA, and FSA funds. If financial constraints are a barrier to receiving care, we also offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on financial need. We believe that money should never be a mystery when it comes to your care, and we are always available to discuss financial arrangements before we begin our work together.

There is no magic timeline for healing. Some clients find the tools they need in 3 to 6 months, while others prefer ongoing, long-term support. We will regularly check in on your progress and decide together what feels right.
-
This is a brief, 15-minute phone or video call designed to see if we are a good fit. You can share a bit about what brings you to therapy, and you can ask me any questions about my approach.
-
Individual therapy is a 1-on-1 space dedicated entirely to your personal goals, history, and specific challenges. Group therapy, on the other hand, brings together 4 to 8 individuals who are navigating similar life experiences. While individual therapy offers deep personal focus, group therapy provides a unique sense of community, shared wisdom, and the powerful realization that you are not alone in what you are experiencing.
-
Progress in therapy looks different for everyone. For some, it means experiencing fewer physical symptoms of anxiety or having easier mornings. For others, it looks like setting a boundary with a family member, catching a negative thought pattern in real time, or simply feeling more grounded during stressful moments. We will regularly pause to check in on your goals and evaluate how you feel so we can adjust our approach together.
-
We understand that balancing work, family, and personal commitments can make daytime appointments tough. We offer a limited number of early morning and late afternoon/evening slots to accommodate busy schedules. During our initial consultation, we can discuss current availability to find a time that works best for you.
-
The therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in your healing, and finding the right fit matters immensely. If at any point you feel that my style isn't matching what you need, I encourage you to bring it up to me in an open conversation. If I can't adjust to serve you better, I am more than happy to provide trusted referrals to other clinicians who might be a better match for your journey.

Confidentiality is the cornerstone of effective therapy. Everything you share in our sessions—from your personal history to your daily struggles—is strictly private and protected by federal and state law. I will not share any information with your employer, family members, or third parties without your explicit, written consent. The only exceptions to this rule are legally mandated situations designed to keep people safe: if there is evidence of child or elder abuse, or if there is an immediate risk of severe harm to yourself or someone else. In these rare cases, my primary goal remains your safety and wellbeing.
